Nigerian Dwarf Goats are a great way to get started. They are beautifully colored and very friendly. If you have small acreage, these goats don't take up a ton of space and are the smallest of milking goat breeds.
Notes; The Nigerian Dwarf goats were originally bred in West Africa, where they were valuable for being easy to care for in harsh conditions, requiring less feed than other goats, but still being a source of meat and milk.
Boer Goats are an attractive meat goat breed option for homesteaders who don’t have acreage for cattle.
Among the several meat breeds available, the Boer goat has the fastest growth and best meat-to-bone conversion – a valuable quality for homesteaders!
Notes; In the early 1900s South African farmers began intentionally selecting traits favoring a fast-growing, adaptable, prolific meat goat.

Grown on the BE ranch, our peppermint produces an amazingly aeromatic smell and taste.
How to Use; Use dried peppermint leaves to provide a natural botanical element to products. Great for aromatic, hand blended potpourri, bath teas and infusing oils for soap, lotions and other skin-care products.
